Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, 9:30 am–10:30 am
Speaker:
Mikaela Iacobelli (ETH Zurich)
The aim of the course is to provide a self contained introduction to optimal transport. We will discuss some milestones of the theory, such as the Brenier Theorem, the Wasserstein metric, the Benamou-Brenier theorem, and Wasserstein gradient flows.
