Lin Lin is an assistant professor in the mathematics department at UC Berkeley and a faculty scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research focuses on the development and analysis of efficient numerical methods for electronic structure calculations, and recently, machine learning techniques for quantum many-body problems.
