Dmitrii Pasechnik

Dmitrii (Dima) Pasechnik joined Oxford in 2013 from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), where since 2006 he was an Assistant Professor. Pasechnik obtained his PhD in pure mathematics in 1996 from the University of Western Australia, and has held a number of postdoctoral and research jobs in several universities in the Netherlands and Germany. His research interests are in combinatorics, algebra, optimization, symbolic computing (theory as well as practice---he is involved in development of Sagemath and GAP computer algebra systems), and game theory.
