Zeros for Partition Functions and Graph-counting Polynomials.
Tuesday, March 19th, 2019, 9:30 am–10:15 am
Speaker:
David Ruelle (IHES)
In this talk we discuss the position of zeros of some polynomials of combinatorial nature. These are partition functions (Lee-Yang circle theorem) or graph-counting polynomials (Hellman-Lieb theorem and generalizations). We base our discussion on a simple lemma (Asana-Ruelle).
