We give an overview of "digital contact tracing", based on the use of the Bluetooth capability in smartphones to provide proximity detection.  We discuss issues and challenges relating to privacy, technology, and public health. The Apple|Google Exposure Notification framework is described briefly.

This keynote talk will be 30 minutes long, followed by 10 minutes of commentary by Helen Nissenbaum (Cornell Tech) on "Values at Play", and 20 minutes of Q&A.
