Zvika Brakerski

Associate Professor, Weizmann Institute

Zvika Brakerski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science. His research interests are in the foundations of computer science. He currently works mostly in cryptography. He completed his PhD at the Weizmann Institute in 2011, advised by Shafi Goldwasser. He then spent two years as a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University, hosted by Dan Boneh. He received his MSc from the Faculty of Engineering of Tel-Aviv University in 2002, where his advisor was Boaz Patt-Shamir. Prior to that, in 2001, he received a joint BSc from the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Computer Science of Tel-Aviv University.
