Youngtak Sohn is a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Mathematics at MIT, hosted by Elchanan Mossel and Nike Sun. He is also a member of NSF/Simons Collaboration on the Theoretical Foundations of Deep Learning. He obtained his PhD in Statistics from Stanford in 2021 under the supervision of Amir Dembo. He is broadly interested in probability theory, statistics, and machine learning, especially in high-dimensional settings.
