Vishesh Jain received his PhD from MIT in 2020, where he was advised by Elchanan Mossel. He will be joining the Department of Statistics at Stanford University as a Stein Fellow, after his time at the Simons Institute. Vishesh is broadly interested in probability, combinatorics, and theoretical computer science, with a recent emphasis on non-asymptotic random matrix theory, graph algorithms, and MCMC.
