Steven Wu

Steven Wu is an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Minnesota. Before joining U of M, Steven was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research-New York City from 2017 to 2018. In 2017, Steven received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was co-advised by Michael Kearns and Aaron Roth.
Steven is broadly interested in algorithms and machine learning, especially in the areas of privacy-preserving data analysis, fairness in machine learning, and algorithmic economics.
