Sergey Bobkov
Professor, University of Minnesota
Sergey Bobkov is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. From 1995 to 1996, he was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at Bielefeld University, Germany. He spent the summers of 2001 and 2002 as an EPSRC Fellow at Imperial College London, UK. In 2012 he was awarded a Simons Fellowship and held the Bezout Chair at Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, France. His research interests are in Probability, Functional Analysis, Convex Geometry, Information Theory and Discrete Mathematics.
