Sean Sinclair
Graduate Student, Cornell University
Sean Sinclair is a fifth year PhD student at Cornell in the Operations Research department, co-advised by Christina Yu and Siddhartha Banerjee. His research is on sequential decision making, with a special focus on online resource allocation. Last year he interned at Microsoft Research working with Adith Swaminathan and Ching-An Chen on using RL for cloud computing services. Prior to that, he earned his BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University and served as a teacher in Ghana with the Peace Corps. Outside of research he enjoys climbing, hiking around New England, and playing his mandolin.
