Samuel Hopkins

Sam Hopkins is a Miller fellow in the theory group at UC Berkeley, hosted by Prasad Raghavendra and Luca Trevisan. Before that, he got his PhD at Cornell under David Steurer’s watchful eyes. He received a BS in mathematics and computer science from the University of Washington in 2013. His research interests include hardness of approximation, combinatorial optimization, and communication complexity.
