Ronen Eldan received his BA degree in mathematics from the Open University of Israel in 2004. In 2012, he received his PhD in pure mathematics from the Tel Aviv University. Ronen then became a visiting researcher at the Microsoft Research Theory Group in Redmond, Washington. He joined the Weizmann Institute's Department of Mathematics in April 2015.
