Reza Eghbali

Reza Eghbali is currently a research fellow at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Washington, Seattle. He received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran. The focus of his research are online optimization, optimization algorithms for machine learning and computational models for brain, particularly the visual cortex.
