Rahul Jain joined the National University of Singapore in 2008, where he is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Principal Investigator in the Centre for Quantum Technologies. He received his PhD from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, India in 2003, and spent time as a postdoc at UC Berkeley and at the University of Waterloo before moving to Singapore. Jain's research interests lie in information theory, quantum computation, cryptography, communication complexity and computational complexity theory.
