Periklis Papakonstantinou
Assistant Professor, Tsinghua University
Periklis Papakonstantinou is an assistant professor at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences at Tsinghua University. He took up this position in 2010 immediately after completing his PhD in Computer Science under the supervision of Charles Rackoff at the University of Toronto. He also got two MSc degrees (Math and CS) from UofT, and a professional engineering degree from the University of Patras. His research interests are in theoretical computer science (at large) and cryptography, and more recently in machine learning - and in particular their intersection with algebra, combinatorics, geometry and randomness.
