Payman Mohassel is a Research Scientist at Yahoo Labs. Mohassel obtained his PhD in computer science at the University of California, Davis in 2009, and subsequently joined the University of Calgary as an assistant professor. His research interests span all aspects of cryptography and information security, with a recent focus on bridging the gap between the theory and practice of privacy-enhancing technologies.
