Matthew Niemerg

Matt Niemerg received his PhD in mathematics from Colorado State University under advisor Daniel J. Bates. His primary research interests are computational mathematics, numerical algebraic geometry, fewnomial theory, and applied mathematics. Specific topics of interest include (algebraic) coding theory, multivariate interpolation and approximation, and algebraic statistics. Other interests include machine learning, quantum information theory, and real algebraic geometry.
