Mariana Raykova
Researcher, SRI International
Mariana Raykova is a researcher in cryptography at SRI International. She received her PhD from Columbia University working on secure multiparty computation and applications, advised by Tal Malkin and Steven Bellovin. Following that she was a postdoc in the cryptography group at IBM Research Watson. Her work includes the first candidate construction for general obfuscation and applications of obfuscation. Another direction in her work in verifiable computation, developing new theoretical constructs and applications including the system for verifiable computation Pinocchio, which received Best Paper Award at the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy, 2013.
