Marco Dalai
Assistant Professor, Brescia University
Marco Dalai received a Dr. Eng (“laurea V.O.”) cum laude in Electronic Engineering in 2003, and a PhD in Information Engineering in 2007 from the University of Brescia, Italy. In 2005, he was a visiting student at the Imperial College of London. Since May 2008, he has been an assistant professor in telecommunications (ING-INF/03) in the Department of Information Engineering, at the University of Brescia. He is a member of IEEE Information Theory Society.
His research interests include information theory, signal processing, image and video coding, and statistical inference. He was the recipient of the 2014 IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award.
