Louis Kang
Postdoctoral Researcher, UC Berkeley
Louis is a Miller Fellow at UC Berkeley, and works at the Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience, with Mike DeWeese. He received a PhD in Physics and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was mentored by Tom Lubensky and Vijay Balasubramanian. Using tools from theoretical physics, he investigates how neural networks in the mammalian brain give rise to cognitive phenomena, at the moment especially those involving the hippocampus.
