Lea Popovic
Associate Professor, Concordia University
Lea Popovic is a University Faculty Award associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Concordia University in Montreal. She was previously a postdoc at Cornell University and at the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. Popovic received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and an Hon BSc degree from the University of Toronto. Her research interests are in probability theory and its applications, in particular the analysis of stochastic processes related to evolutionary biology, genetics, and cell and systems biology.
