Krishna Narayanan is professor in the ECE department at Texas A&M University. His research interests are generally in the areas of communication theory, channel coding, information theory and signal processing. Specifically, Narayanan is interested in codes on graphs, iterative decoding, joint source and channel coding, the interplay between coding and queueing and joint physical layer and network layer design. He is particularly interested in applications to wireless communications and data storage.
