Kaie Kubjas
Assistant Professor, Aalto University
Kaie Kubjas is a research fellow at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland. Previously, she was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany. She received her PhD in mathematics at Freie Universität Berlin under the supervision of Christian Haase and Klaus Altmann in 2013. In her thesis, she studied algebraic and combinatorial aspects of group-based models. Her current research interests lie in the areas of algebraic statistics, computational algebraic geometry, polyhedral geometry and combinatorics.
