Jop Briët is an Assistant Professor in the Algorithms and Complexity group at CWI, and a part of the Networks center. Before, Briët was a postdoc at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, and a PhD student at CWI / University of Amsterdam, advised by Harry Buhrman.
