Jalex is an undergraduate student in mathematics at Caltech, working as a student researcher with Thomas Vidick. In Fall 2018, Jalex will begin as a PhD student in the UC Berkeley CS Theory group. Jalex's research interests lie mostly in nonlocal games and quantum complexity. They are especially excited by the introduction of underutilized mathematical tools into the study of quantum computer science.
