Hamed Hatami is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at McGill University. Previously, he was a Veblen Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Princeton University and at the Institute for Advanced Studies. He completed his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, under the supervision of Professor Michael Molloy and Professor Balazs Szegedy. His research focuses on applications of mathematical analysis to theoretical computer science and discrete mathematics. His current interests include discrete Fourier analysis, higher order Fourier analysis, and the theory of graph limits.
