Greta Panova

Greta Panova is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Southern California and the University of Pennsylvania (on leave 2018-2019). She received her PhD in Mathematics from Harvard University (2011), advised by Richard Stanley (MIT). She was a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA, a Visiting Associate Professor at Institute Henri Poincare in Paris, a von Neumann Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and has been partially supported by NSF grants since 2015. Her research is mainly in algebraic combinatorics with applications to geometric complexity theory, probability and statistical mechanics.
