Fedor Fomin
Professor, University of Bergen
Fedor Fomin received his Masters (1992) and PhD (1997) from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at St. Petersburg State University, supervised by Prof. Nikolay Petrov. Fomin was an assistant professor at St. Petersburg State University (chair of Operations Research) until 1999. He then was a postdoc in Chile (CMM and Universidad de Chile), the Czech Republic (ITI and Charles University), and Germany (University of Paderborn). Since 2002, Fomin has been a professor of Algorithms in the Department of Informatics at the University of Bergen.
