Elisabeth Werner
Professor, Case Western Reserve University
Elisabeth Werner received her PhD in mathematics from the University P.et M. Curie in Paris. She is a professor of mathematics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. In 2012, Elisabeth became one of the inaugural fellows of the American Mathematical Society. She was an associate director at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications at the University of Minnesota from 2014 to 2015. Elisabeth was the Caroline Herschel visiting professor at the Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany in the summer of 2020. Her research interests are convex geometry, analysis, and probability.
