Debmalya Panigrahi

Debmalya Panigrahi is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Duke University. His research interests are in the design and analysis of algorithms, focusing on graph algorithms, online and approximation algorithms, and combinatorial optimization. He is also interested in the use of algorithms in the real world, ranging from Internet applications to communication networks. Prior to joining Duke in 2013, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research for one year after earning his Ph.D at MIT in 2012, where he was awarded a Presidential Fellowship.
