Barry Bödeker
Barry Bödeker is the Simons Institute's graphic designer. He has over twenty years of experience as a designer specializing in print and digital media. In the course of his career, he has been responsible for a number of major graphic design projects, including the branding of DCU (Ireland's University of Enterprise). His illustrations have appeared in many articles and publications worldwide. Graphic Design awards he has won include: a gold IDEA Award, a gold EULDA Award and a gold National Print Award.
Barry was previously a Senior Lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Design, where he taught Visual Communication for the HNC, HND and BA in Graphic Design. He has also represented the Visual Communications sector at Council level for the Institute of Designers in Ireland. Barry holds an MSc in Computing and Design from the University of Ulster.
