Amnon Ta-Shma

Amnon Ta-Shma is a professor of computer science at Tel-Aviv University. He received his BA in mathematics and computer science in 1987, and his PhD in 1996, both from the Hebrew University. Ta-Shma was a postdoctoral fellow at the Weizmann Institute in 1996, and at DIMACS and UC Berkeley from 1997 to 2000. He has been with Tel-Aviv University since 2000. His research focuses on pseudorandomness and derandomization, coding theory, and to some extent, quantum computation.
